Reflection Hymn

Standing in awe of our Creator and trembling before His majesty is the principal thing of true wisdom. It is what we were made for. To know the Lord and love him with all our hearts is the purpose of our existence as human beings, and to know him is to marvel at Him. This is what we will do for all eternity when He dwells with us in new creation forever. So, let us continue to delight and trust in Him, and let the fear of God drive us into the Word of God. As we continue to learn the wisdom of the Lord, it will only cause us to understand reverence for him all the more.

- In Ecclesiastes, we see that the pleasures of this life are vain and amount to nothing, but Psalm 1 calls the one who delights in God “blessed.” What does it mean to you to be truly blessed? What does prosperity with God look like?

- We were made to know God, and marveling at His wondrous works is inherent to knowing Him. Can you recall the most recent time you trembled at God’s magnificent creation and salvation that He has gifted to humankind?
