Romans 1:16a For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes.

The gospel is the good news that Jesus Christ came to save sinners by paying the penalty of our sin to bring us back to God. Moved by His love, it is God’s announcement to the world regarding the sacrificial death, burial, and resurrection of the Lord Jesus. Jesus is the only way to the Father. (John 14:6)

Matthew 4:4b It is written, 'Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.'

The Word of God is powerful and eternal truth. The Bible provides the nourishment, understanding, and teaching that all people need at all times. We desire to be a faithful church, placing our trust in the Bible as the living Word of God - our only standard for faith and practice.

Luke 19:10 For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.

Jesus Christ died for all. The gospel is for all people because God loved and sent his Son for the world. (John 3:16) Our church welcomes all who want to place their faith in Christ as Lord. Our purpose is to help people know God, love Him, and be with Him eternally through Christ.

God leads and teaches the humble. In this encouraging and practical workshop, Sam and Shawn teach about the posture of patient expectation we can build towards our Heavenly Father, knowing that He gives light and spiritual wisdom to those who seek Him.

Speaking by the Spirit Workshop

With imperatives like "quench not the spirit" and "pursue love, and eanestly desire the spiritual gifts, especially that you may prophesy," it's clear that God's people have a high calling to edification and ministry within the Church. Join Sam and Shawn as they delve into the Scriptures and show what it looks like for the members of the church to speak by the spirit.
